"Red Velvet Paris Bag" is 11" x 16", pieced velvet, silk, rayon and cotton fabric, lined with webbed pockets, quilted and embellished with Paris hardware. It has 22" black handles.

Day 276 Baltic Sea Bag

"Baltic Sea" is a 12" x 17" bag pieced with blues and quilted, lined with pockets, appliqued with pieced fish and turtle with buttons and glass beads, magnetic snap closure, it has a beautiful leather shoulder strap.

Day 275 Spiral Suns

Spiral Suns is a round tote, with an orange background and a paper-pieced spiral sun on each side. It has reinforced sides, is lined with pockets and has a 42" pieced/embellished shoulder strap.

"Basic Beige Bag" is 12" x 18" x 4" with lots of room for treasures. beige tapestries make the bag and outside pockets.

"Shades of Black and White" is a wall hanging, 36" tall by 19" across. It is a multi-media pieced, with pieced fabrics, cards and beads.

Day 272 Birdhouse Bookbag

"Birdhouse Bookbag" is 12" x 12" and is a cute summertime bag. It has appliqued birdhouses and flowerpots, buttons, outside and inside pockets. It has 16" woven handles.

Day 271 Elephants Go Round

"Elephants Go Round" is a a large wallhanging, 36" square, paper pieced elephants encircling a velvety savannah scene, ears and tails in 3D.

Day 270 Coral Reef Courier

"Coral Reef Courier" is a 12" x 14" bag. It features a pieced fish on the outside pocket on one side and an appliqued turtle on the other side outside pocket. It is lined with pockets and has 20" woven handles.

Day 269 Bonytail Chub

"Bonytail Chub" is a wallhanging, 13.5" tall by 20.5" across, handpainted fish (acrylic on cotton, with a little oil detail for the scales), appliqued on a tye-dyed rayon background and quilted. Cotton print border. Ready to hang with a dowel in sleeve.
The Bonytail Chub is one of 10 endangered Colorado river fish.

Day 268 Calico Shopping Bag

"Calico" is a 12" x 19" x 6", simple, quilted shopping bag in salmon colored cottons, lined with pockets and has 14" fabric handles.

Day 267 Wrinkle in Water Wisdom

"Wrinkle in Water Wisdom" is a wall hanging that I made for the 2011 Audubon exhibit in Dayton, Ohio. It is 56" tall by 27" across, with hand painted endangered Colorado River Fish (the Lake Chub, the Humpback Chub, the Razorback Sucker, the Pikeminnow, the Rio Grande Sucker, the Suckermouth Minnow, the Plains Minnow, the Northern and Southern Redbelly Daces, and the Bonytail Chub) all represented in this wallhanging. The fish are appliqued, the background quilted, and air bubbles (glass balls) and riverstones (painted rock) and river plants (twine) were added. The background is made from silk/linen, so it has a great watery/shimmery effect with the light.
