The artist as art. Putting yourself on the canvas. Looking yourself in the eye. This piece is 12" tall and 9" across with two kinds of hair (threads and drapery fringe), painted face (onto fabric) with a piece of a skirt I used to wear all the time for my shirt. The background is various pieces and the whole thing is quilted with a border made from a silk tie that was found in the parking lot.
