Day 28



This piece is a "crazy quilt" page from a sample book I'm putting together. Crazy quilts are fun, because you don't need a pattern, just a bunch of pieces of scraps. Start with a shape in the middle (in this case, a pentagon (5 sides...not necessarily equal)), then just build on each side one at a time, going around, clipping off the excess. This piece is made of silks, velvets, laces, cottons, and satin. It measures 9" tall by 12" across.
