334 days to go to fulfill my endeavor of posting a piece of art every day for a year. This is another page from my sample art journal. It's called "mixed lace", but it has many techniques, including machine lacing over cutaway foundation, reverse applique and specialty yarns, built-up fabric peaks (something I've never seen before...so I think it's my little weird invention). Of course it's pieced and quilted, and measures 12" tall by 9" across.
